Michelle Creasi, LMT

Massage Therapist

I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for over five years.  When I started my training, I looked for a school that specialized in a holistic approach to massage therapy. The mind and body are very connected.  We have to treat the whole person. I work with people from a holistic approach–and tailor the therapy to meet the needs of the patient at that time.  When a client comes into a session, I talk to them first.  I want to know if there are any areas that have been causing problems–and what is going on in the person’s life.  I draw upon a range of techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, and trigger point massage.  I incorporate breathwork, stretching, and myofascial release to offer a multi-layered experience to my clients.  I really enjoy working closely with people and want to see people feeling better when they leave. During treatment, I pay close attention to how the muscles are responding.  I watch for the  difference between challenging the muscle and “going too deep.”  Although I will adapt a session length to meet a person’s needs, I prefer to work for 90 minutes.

I provide a range of treatment options.  I offer workplace treatment at the Woburn Work Bar location.  Due to the environment in Woburn, we are not able to provide the level of privacy required for a person to disrobe.  This is what makes it “workplace treatment.”  In partnership with The Healing Knot in Middleton, I can offer a greater level of privacy and am able to offer more traditional treatment in which there is direct contact with more skin.
